Future Citizen Scientists with ELGO-DIMITRA and easyPEST

Organised by the easyPEST project partner in Greece, ELGO-DIMITRA, the activity brought together 42 students from the 72nd Elementary School of Thessaloniki at the Forest Research Institute on 19 May 2026.

Through this activity, students were introduced to citizen science, biodiversity, invasive pest species and environmental observation, encouraging them to become the future citizen scientists of easyPEST.
